JP Morgan Pays $75 Million in Epstein Sex Trafficking Case

The U.S. Virgin Islands have won a $75 million lawsuit against JP Morgan Chase. USVI attorney general filed the case in December 2022, alleging that JP Morgan failed to notify suspicious financial activity, found connected with Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking activities.

JP Morgan also benefited financially from the operation, the suit said. Saying it “deeply regrets any association” with Epstein, JP Morgan agreed to pay the $75 million, but refused to concede any liability, CNN Business reported.

Part of the settlement will go toward charitable organizations working to end human trafficking.
