The pandemic might be over, but as far as the White House is concerned, anyone who isn’t fully vaxxed had better show up fully masked, as well as practicing social distancing at an upcoming White House affair.

The “guidance” was part of the invitations to College Athlete Day at the White House that the president and First Lady sent to dozens of NCAA championship teams. Similar guidance was sent to lawmakers whose presence was requested at the event. Specifically, the instructions read: “Masking Guidance: Fully vaccinated guests are not required to wear a mask on the White House grounds. Guests who are not fully vaccinated must wear a mask at all times and maintain at least 6 feet distance from others while on the White House grounds.”

While a backpedaling White House is now saying the masking requirements were sent out “inadvertently,” Fox News reported that it’s, “unclear whether recipients of the original message received any kind of follow-up note saying the COVID guidance was out of date.”
