Military Commander Says Mandatory Vaccinations Are a Security Threat

Since the federal and military COVID vaccine mandates have already been rescinded, the U.S. Supreme Court has declined to make a ruling on the issue.

The court’s decision basically sides with President Biden by leaving “a clean legal slate for any future vaccine mandates,” The Hill said. “Courts had come to conflicting conclusions in the cases, but before the Supreme Court could weigh in on any of the appeals, the vaccine requirements were canceled. At issue before the justices was what legal remedy was appropriate given the developments.”

The case had worked its way through the lower courts, with appeals waiting on SCOTUS, until Congress directed the secretary of defense to rescind the mandate; once that was done SCOTUS determined the question was moot.

Without a SCOTUS ruling, what this means is that no precedent has yet been set for any future similar cases.
