FDA Approves Children’s RSV Shot for Pregnant Women

Studies are showing that fewer pregnant women are willing to receive the COVID jab.

Though recommended by the CDC that they should receive the COVID vaccine — 2022’s numbers reveal that only 27.3% of pregnant women were administered a COVID shot. “We are meeting more resistance than I ever remember,” says Dr. Neil Silverman, maternal-fetal medicine specialist at UCLA.

The CDC is disappointed in the lack of vaccinated pregnant women, while contrarily also supporting the belief that expectant mothers must question everything that goes in their body.
