James Uthmeier, you’re DeSantis’ new campaign advisor; listen up before your candidate goes to ZERO in the polls

Read and learn, James; THIS is what you need to do YESTERDAY

JON RAPPOPORT

Well, James, you’re also Governor DeSantis’ chief of staff, so you know all about his vital achievements in Florida. That’s a plus.

But your candidate has the charisma of a bowl of wet noodles. That’s a problem, and you have to solve it. Pronto.

Of the three men running for President who actually have something to say—Kennedy, Vivek, and your guy—DeSantis is the only one who has actually held elected public office.

And despite what Trump keeps bloviating about Ron, the Governor achieved major victories in Florida. You know all about them. So make a list.

For instance, once Ron woke up to the COVID scam, he knocked the ball out of the park and kept Florida freer than most, if not all, other states. For which he deserves the thanks of every resident of the sunshine state.

Punch that up, James. Here’s how.

Live stream DeSantis and you on a tour of his office and the offices of other state officials. Talk to these officials. Have them spell out all his achievements. And not in bureaucratic-speak.

Not a half-hour tour on a slow Tuesday. A long tour, day after day, for a month, live streaming all the way, to the American people:

HERE IS A GOVERNOR WHO ACTUALLY DID SOMETHING. HE’S NOT JUST A TALKER. HE’S NOT A CLUELESS PRESIDENT LIKE TRUMP WHO APPOINTED FAUCI INTERIM PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES AND LET HIM LOCK DOWN THE COUNTRY AND TORPEDO THE ECONOMY AND DESTROY COUNTLESS LIVES.

Your man, James, is a manager. And an organizer. Not very thrilling on the surface. But very EFFECTIVE. He scored victories against long odds. Against all sorts of loons in Florida.

So you have to make THAT into a riveting story. It’s a damn powerful story, if you tell it right.

You’re going to need help, from some creative pros. Find them. Your man is hero Governor. SHOW THAT.

And then, live stream Ron, day after day, week after week, talking to residents of Florida who benefited from what he did as Governor. Make these people and their stories REAL. No fluff.

DeSantis is running for President on his record as Governor. That’s what he has. That’s what America has to know about. NOT as generalities. But as stories. Galvanizing stories. You have to find the pros who can highlight those stories on live stream to the whole country.

DeSantis standing at a podium talking about his achievements isn’t strong. It’s not a winner. Maybe a swift kick in his ass from you will help there. But don’t count on it.

Have you ever watched Eisenhower talk on television? About as interesting as desiccated eggs on a plate. But the man was President—and his reputation as a General preceded him. Big-time.

THAT’S what you have to do for your man now. Precede him by telling stories about his triumphs. Great stories, told with drama.

Otherwise, you’re sunk. Pack up and go home.

Do you think America knows how Ron pulled off so many victories in Florida? NOBODY KNOWS. And that’s pretty sad. The details of the HOW are the stories. Tell them.

Up until now, the morons running Ron’s campaign have been miraculously finding a way to avoid showing America HIS REAL ACHIEVEMENTS.

Live stream is your tool. Day after day, month after month. Relentlessly. Guided by pros. Because if those stories come off as vague, as typical political fluff, as generality, you’re sunk. You’re worse off than you are now.

You’ve got a candidate who can’t, so far, summon up the dynamic inside stories himself. Face it. That has to be overcome. By you as his guide.

Are you following me, James? I hope so. You have to slam on the brakes of the campaign bus, do a fast 180, and head in the opposite direction, away from the boring morass of what’s been happening.

And by the way, there is more. Plenty. You have to go on the attack—with your hair on fire—against Trump and Biden. Fearlessly. Because they DID put America in a gigantic COVID hole. Your attack has to light up the sky.

As Ron’s new campaign manager, you’re walking into a Big Snooze. So ignite dynamite.

THE PEOPLE OF FLORIDA ARE THE DYNAMITE. THE PEOPLE TELLING THEIR STORIES ABOUT HOW THE GOVERNOR MADE THEIR LIVES BETTER.

Dozens, hundreds of those people. On live stream. Every day.

There’s your Reality Show. And the payoff is: the show IS real. It’s not just another piece of show biz.

Go to it, James. You’re on the clock.
