Biden Announces National Cybersecurity Strategy

In a plan coordinated with national cyber director Chris Inglis, the Biden administration has implemented an extensive, all-encompassing new strategy to operate and control “a digital ecosystem for all Americans.”

The system, which a White House press release says is already underway, purportedly will move the country into a secure digital future by working with “like-minded” partner nations to create global supply chains, information and communications technology and operational technology products and services.

The plan is outlined in a 39-page explanation of how Biden is using executive orders, Congress and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to reframe how we use the internet and the digital world itself.

The plan includes five pillars that will “increase efficiency and safety while providing game-changing insights into our environment and economy.” This will require a massive restructuring of our national security, infrastructure and both public and private industry operations, and the integration of federal cybersecurity centers, to name a few.
