How much hay is Biden making from the Trump assassination attempt?

If you and I were sitting around dreaming up stories that could knock Biden’s obvious brain damage off the front page…

…forcing the Democrat heavy hitters calling for his resignation to back off…

…a Trump assassination attempt would be right there high on the list.

Just saying.

Well, it’s happened. The news cycle has been turned upside down.

Starting with the near-miss on Trump, I watched the networks—concentrating on CNN, MSNBC, and FOX—for almost 24 hours straight. I’m trying to unwarp my brain.

It was all Trump all the time. Not a whisper about the sitting President needing to be put out to pasture.

It was like watching a big school of fish suddenly come to a full stop and turn 180 degrees and go in the opposite direction full tilt.

To give the new story more juice, even the lefty CNN and MSNBC were willing to attack the Secret Service for failing to secure the rooftop where the 20-year old managed to gain access.

Biden made two brief public appearances (as of this writing) denouncing violence, and no one commented that he looked weak and came across like a dim light bulb.

Starting mid-afternoon on Sunday, the networks began talking up and reporting from the Republican convention—where, they emphasized, the security would be ramped up to new levels.

They showed Trump’s plane heading to, and landing in, Milwaukee.

Nothing about Biden’s dementia. It was almost as if he’d found a cure.
