Strange humanoid encounter in Argentina

Location. Trenque Lauquen, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Date: August 25 1999 Time: 16:30

Car mechanic Carlos Colon was driving his 1998 Chevrolet Pickup Truck when suddenly he began to hear a strange buzzing sound coming from the truck’s radio, FM. At first, he thought it might have been the fault of his cellphone which he had been charging. But the buzzing sound became more intense, almost deafening, Colon compared it to “a thousand mosquitoes buzzing in your ear” he also thought it could have been the alternator. After taking a curve, he remembers stopping the truck without turning off the engine. He attempted to switch radio stations, but this didn’t work. Suddenly a sort of movement to his right caught his attention. Looking up he saw through the front window and the wipers “something” approaching his location at very high speed. At first Colon attempted to exit the truck but then stopped as he noticed five white figures or silhouettes, ‘standing’ close to his location.

The figures were very strange especially from the shoulders up. They were very tall, at least 2.50m in height, and were similar to humans in shape but not completely. These figures appeared to inside a sort of screen (which they never left) compared to that of screen at the movies, perhaps a meter taller than the figures. The ‘screen’ and the figures were at about 50-meters away from Colon, who could clearly see the height of the creatures since he had to look up to completely see their features. The strangers stood side by side in a straight line, with arms hanging down on their sides and legs spread open and seemed to “slide” or move inside the screen. According to Colon the strange figures would look at each other, making slight movements with their heads, and for a brief moment looked directly at Colon. He wasn’t able to see any noses, eyes on the figures, only a dark spot where the face should had been, the rest of their bodies was white in color.

The humanoids remained standing for a while and then grabbed each other hands forming a circle, with their heads facing inside, almost touching each other. Suddenly the screen became to shrink transforming into a dark-gray cone. A sort of swirling mist seemed to obscure the cone, and then everything suddenly disappeared, “just like turning off a television set”. Colon looked up to see if saw where the strangers had gone but didn’t see anything. Suddenly Colon realized that he was now standing away from his truck which was now facing the opposite direction, as he suddenly heard the radio playing and realized he was now standing where the screen and the entities had been. At this point he felt fear and ran to his truck, and drove back to Trenque Lauquen, looking around as he drove in case the strange entities reappeared. As he passed the small village of La Zanja he became more alert and seemed to “snap out” of some kind of stupor. He didn’t know why he was going so fast, and then suddenly began to feel very tired, as if just getting over a “cold”. He attributed to a sudden rise of his blood pressure, but his doctor later told him that he was suffering from “nervous tension”.

According to Colon he thought that the encounter had only lasted between two and seven minutes only. Later at the local clinic he suffered from dizziness and blurred vision. He stayed only a brief time at work and then went home telling his wife about what he had seen. Feeling very anxious he visited his doctor two days later, but everything was found to be normal. He later visited the site of the encounter and to his surprise at the same exact spot where he had found himself after the screen and entities had vanished, he found several of the papers detailing his cargo on that date. He only found his own footprints at the site. 45 minutes before his encounter another trucker and his companion had seen several luminous objects crossing the highway apparently near the village of La Zanja.
