A new type of allergic reaction along with kidney and renal disorders are suspected from the COVID-19 vaccination. Europe’s drugs regulator recently reported that three new conditions were reported by a “small number” of people who had received Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccinations.
Reactions, according to the regulator, include erythema multiforme (an allergic skin reaction), kidney inflammation and nephrotic syndrome, which is a renal disorder characterized by heavy urinary protein losses.
In addition, the European Medicines Agency (EMA) found “a possible link between very rare heart inflammation and the mRNA vaccines.” The European regulator and WHO downplayed the adverse reactions by saying that the vaccines outweigh any risks.
