How About Some Free Ramen Noodles for That Shot?
In an attempt to get more inmates to agree to take a COVID-19 shot, a Washington state jail is offering prisoners 10 free packs of Ramen noodles in exchange.
Jail officials told The Associated Press the noodles are one of the most popular commissary items that inmates want to purchase. Any inmate can take advantage of the soups-for-shots program, no matter how short their incarceration.
So far 90 inmates have rolled up their sleeves and taken up the offer.
