TAKE ACTION: Tell Mark Zuckerberg to Restore Our Facebook Account!

 Since August 2022, Children’s Health Defense has been banned from Facebook and Instagram.

For the crime of sharing truthful information and diverse viewpoints — especially related to COVID-19 vaccines, alternative treatments, and vaccine injuries — Meta suddenly and without warning kicked us off both platforms.

Even before Meta deplatformed us, CHD sued the social media giant in November 2020, for colluding with the U.S. government to censor and suppress our Facebook and Instagram posts.

After losing our case in the lower courts, we recently petitioned the U.S. Supreme Court to hear our case against Meta.

Less than 24 hours later, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg announced he was ending the company’s third-party fact-checking program because it had “gone too far.”

Zuckererg admitted what CHD and others had already verified — that during the pandemic, government officials pressured — or as he told Joe Rogan, “would call up our team and, like, scream at them and curse” at them — to censor content that was factually accurate but didn’t align with the official government narrative.

Meta strangled public debate about life-saving COVID treatments. It even went so far as to prevent people who were injured by COVID vaccines from communicating with each other in private groups.

Now, he says, his company is committed to “restoring free expression.” That’s the right move — but it doesn’t go far enough. It doesn’t undo the damage Meta caused CHD and our social media followers by banishing us from its platforms.

If Mr. Zuckerberg is truly committed to “free expression” he must immediately restore CHD’s Facebook and Instagram accounts. He must also commit to using neutral algorithms that don’t suppress certain content, and to resisting — and publicly reporting — any behind-closed-doors government communications about censoring American’s protected speech.

Dear Mr. Zuckerberg,

Thank you for claiming to end Facebook’s third-party fact-checking program and for admitting that your company bowed to government pressure to censor content the government disapproved of — even when you and your fact-checkers knew the information was truthful and accurate.

However, if your company is sincerely committed to “free expression,” you must immediately restore the accounts of Children’s Health Defense (CHD) across all Meta platforms, including Facebook and Instagram.

In November 2022, Meta suddenly and without warning deplatformed CHD’s Facebook and Instagram accounts.

Much of the information CHD posted — deemed “misinformation” or “disinformation” by Meta fact-checkers — has since been proven true.

Many of the pronouncements by government experts like Dr. Anthony Fauci — that COVID vaccines prevented transmission, that there was no plausible evidence that SARS Co-V-2 may have leaked from a lab, and that COVID vaccines were causing serious injuries, including myocarditis and death— proved to be false.

But instead of deplatforming the CDC, FDA and other government sites for posting inaccurate information, Meta targeted CHD.

It’s time to right that wrong.

Meta’s fact-checkers — who by your own admission were never “independent” — strangled the public scientific debate around issues of critical importance to the public — and deprived people of lifesaving information.

Children’s Health Defense is committed to investigating and disseminating truthful, scientifically sound health-related information, and to fostering healthy, responsible scientific debate.

If Meta is committed to “free expression,” your company must immediately restore our Facebook and Instagram accounts, including all past posts.
