Is Michelle Obama getting ready to run for President?

Netflix is releasing a big piece featuring Michelle and her pal, Oprah, doing a live event together. That event took place at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles, on December 13, 2022 (note: the Netflix trailer for that is here; and, Joel was there live, and recorded some of it on his phone—he shares the first 5-plus minutes of the event here).

Let’s see. Oprah has 42 million Twitter followers. Michelle has 22 million. And, oh yes, Barack has 132 million. There’s fan overlap among these three titans, but still. Formidable.

“Activate the Twitter troops! I’m running!”

Will she? Her legions of fans are told she’s “The Forever First Lady.” That’s quite a handle.
